Due to Michael Williams Sensei's retirement as the International Chief Instructor, Maruyama Sensei advises that all queries should from now on be directed to him personally via his secretary Ms. Mieko Kondo (email@example.com).
A comprehensive body of resources exists to enable Instructors and dojos to gain understanding and insight into Maruyama Sensei's teachings and the requirements of the organisation. These resources include documents, books, videos, DVDs, as well as correspondence via email.
Travellers to Japan please note: Over the past years, there has been quite an increase in the number of instructors and students visiting Maruyama Sensei in Japan. Sensei would like to advise all Aikido Yuishinkai members who are planning to visit Japan of the following:
A teaching fee will be applicable for all classes (per lesson) as well as a Dojo/gym entrance fee to be paid by each student. Cost of meals and transport to be paid by students. In the past, Maruyama Sensei has generously paid for many of these costs himself. However, with the larger number of members coming to Japan to train it is not possible for him to do this anymore. Thank you for your understanding.
