Master Koretoshi Maruyama - Private lessons

Master Koretoshi Maruyama is generally available for private lessons from February to April. Please note that only Shindo classes can be attended by a single person, as no uke is needed, however for aikido lessons a minimum of 2 persons is necessary.

Private lessons - fee structure
 
One person                       5,000 yen per lesson (only for Shindo lessons)
Two persons                     3,000 yen per person per lesson (minimum of 2 persons are needed for private aikido lessons)
Three persons or more      2,000 yen per person per lesson (six persons are the maximum number for private classes, unless otherwise advised by Maruyama Sensei).
 
Sensei’s regular group lessons (Mon. and Thu. 7:00 – 8:30 pm) are still 1,000 yen per person per lesson. Please advise Sensei by contacting us if you intend to visit.

Please note:

Maruyama Sensei teaches in the Public Gyms at Heiwadai and Ooizumigakkuen. Please do not telephone these gyms for information about classes or directions as this causes major embarassement for Sensei.

If Sensei arranges to meet you at the Metro station, please be early so that you wait for him rather than the other way around.

Private classes may also be held at other venues, e.g. the Shinjuku Sports Center. For further information please contact us.
